| Minister: | Give honor to God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. |
| People: | And to all the children of our Father, now and forever. AMEN. |
| Minister: | Almighty God, to You all hearts are open, all desires known and from whom no secrets are hid. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of Thy Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love Thee, and worthily magnify Thy Holy Name: through Christ our Lord |
| People: | AMEN. |
| Minister | The Lord be with You. |
| People | And also with you. |
| Minister: | Let us pray: Eternal Father; whose blessed Son Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be the true bread, which gives life to the world; Evermore give us this bread; that He may live in us and we in Him; Him who lives and reigns with You Father; and the Holy Spirit; one God, now and forever, AMEN. |
| He is Lord! He is Lord! He has risen from the dead and He is Lord. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. [REPEAT]. |
| Minister | Let us profess before God and one another our common faith. |
| Minister and People | I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord: He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN. |
| Choir & Congregation: |
All things come of Thee, O Lord . . . And of Thine own, have we given Thee. AMEN |
| Minister: | The Peace of the Lord be with you. |
| People | And also with you! |
| Minister | Let us humbly confess our sins unto Almighty God. |
| Minister and People | Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of
all
things, Judge of all men:
We acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness which we from time to time most grievously have committed by thought, word, and deed, against Thy divine majesty, provoking most justly Thy wrath and indignation against us. We do earnestly repent and are heartily sorry for these our misdoings; the remembrance of them is grievous unto us. Have mercy upon us; Have mercy upon us most merciful Father, for Thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ's sake; Forgive us all that is past and grant that we may hereafter serve and please Thee in newness of life, to the honor and glory of Thy Name; Through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN. [Music No. 1] |
| Minister | Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who of of Thy great mercy has promised forgiveness of sins to all those who turn to Thee with true repentance and sincere faith: have mercy upon us. Pardon and deliver us from all our sins. Confirm and strengthen us in all goodness, and bring us to everlasting life, through Christ Jesus our Lord. AMEN. |
| Minister: | The Lord be with you. |
| People: | And also with you. |
| Minister: | Lift up your hearts |
| People: | We lift them up to the Lord |
| Minister: | Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God! |
| People: | It is right to give thanks and praise. |
| Minister: | It is right and a good and joyful thing always and everywhere to give thanks to Thee, Father Almighty; Creator of Heaven and earth: For by water and the Holy Spirit You have made us a new people in Christ Jesus our Lord, to set forth Thy glory in all the world. Therefore, we praise Thee, joining our voices with angels and archangels and with all the company of heaven, who forever sing this hymn to proclaim the glory of your name. |
| Minister and People: | Holy! holy! Holy! Lord God of power and might. Heaven and earth are full of Thy Glory
Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest! |
| Minister: | Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, who of Thy tender
mercy didst give Thine only Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer death on the
cross for our redemption, who made there by his oblation of himself,
once offered; a full, perfect and sufficient sacrifice, oblation, and
satisfaction for the sins of the whole world; and did institute and in
his holy gospel command us to continue this, a perpetual memory of
that, his precious death, until his coming again. Hear us, O merciful Father, we most humbly beseech Thee. Grant that we receiving these Thy creatures of bread and wine, according to Thy Son, our Savior Jesus Christ's holy institution, in remembrance of his death and passion, may be partakers of his most blessed body and blood: who in the same night he was betrayed took bread and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take, eat; this is my body which is broken for you." Likewise after supper he took the cup and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, "Drink ye all of it, for this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for you and for many for the remission of sins; do this, as often as you shall drink it, in remembrance of me." AMEN. |
| Minister: | We do not presume to come to this Thy table, O merciful Lord, trusting in our own righteousness, but in your manifold and great mercies. We are not worthy so much as to gather the crumbs under your table. But you are the same Lord whose property is always to have mercy. Grant us, therefore, gracious Lord, so to eat the flesh of Your Dear Son Jesus Christ, and to drink His blood that our sinful souls and bodies may be made clean by His death and washed through His blood, and that we may ever more dwell in Him and He in us. (AMEN (Music No. 4) |
| People: | AMEN. |
| Minister: | Let us pray |
| Unison: | God of grace, we give you praise and thanks for this Holy Communion of the blood and body of our Saviour Jesus Christ, the pledge of our redemption, and we pray that it may bring us forgiveness of sins, strength in our weakness, and everlasting salvation; through Jesus Christ our Saviour. AMEN. |
May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of His Son, Jesus Christ our Saviour, and the blessings of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be among you and remain with you always. AMEN.
